Andrew Gow is a portrait painter and artist working across Europe and the United States. He studied in the U.S., Italy, France, and the U.K. before settling in London where he has been a professional painter and artist for over 15 years.

As one of Europe’s most reputable portrait artists, many of Andrew's works hang in important private collections across the world. His commissions range from heads of prominent global industries to family portraits of children and parents. Recent examples include Ratan Tata GBE, Chairman of the Tata Group and the inaugural official portrait of Cardinal Pell, the Prefect for the Secretariat for the Vatican Economy.

Andrew’s ability to balance artistic inquiry and empathy with discretion and tact enables him to capture the authentic nature of his subject without any sense of intrusion. In addition, each of his portraits is not just a likeness of the subject, but a carefully composed and considered study. The overall experience clients have with Andrew is not only enjoyable but deeply enlightening.

Andrew has exhibited with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the New English Art Club. He is also a visiting tutor at the London Atelier of Representational Art (LARA).
